Since our first tour to Oshkosh in 1997, over 900 people have joined our annual pilgrimage to this great aviation event

Our Campsite
Over the years our campsite has become a great attraction in Camp Scholler providing entertainment and hospitality to not only our group, but also to the many visitors who join us every evening for braais, refreshments and good fun. The camaraderie and spirit is amagic that cannot be described! Besides being lots of fun, it also offers a very convenient way to do Oshkosh. The site is situated in a prime position in Camp Scholler, a short walk to the flight line and close to showers and toilets.

    Meals and Drinks
    Camping in our site means you don’t have to worry about shopping for meals or drinks. Breakfast (cereals, toast etc.) is included in the tour price and tea and coffee is available free 24 hours a day. Dinner is arranged every evening. Cost works out at about $10. We also run a honesty bar in the campsite, cold beers, wine, soft drinks etc.

    Getting to the show
    Our campsite is a mere 5 minute walk to the flightline. However, if your feet don’t feel up to it, EAA provide a free golf cart pick-up service to the grounds. EAA trams operate on the grounds to get you around effortlessly.

    Camping Equipment
    There is no need to bring any camping equipment with you. We supply tents and bedding. We also have chairs and tables, braais and gazebos. All cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied.

    Laundry & Shopping
    Our van makes regular trips to downtown Oshkosh. If you need to shop, jump on board! We also run a laundry service for the campsite. Washing works out at about $10 per bag, wash and fold. Our site also lies on the Yellow School Bus shuttle route, which serves the campgrounds, the airfield and downtown Oshkosh

    Staying in touch
    Camp Scholler is a free Wi-Fi zone. We also have a landline in our camp “HQ” as well as fax facilities. South African cell phones work in the Oshkosh area as long as they have been set up for roaming. Local USA cell phone packages can be bought for as little $50 with airtime

    Showers and Loos
    EAA run a tight ship! The showers are close at hand , clean and always have warm water. Toilets are cleaned daily and now also feature flushing loos!
