The Tour

Introducing the easiest, most fun and most convenient way to do Oshkosh - catered camping on the airfield! Since our first tour to Oshkosh in 1997, over 800 people have joined our annual pilgrimage to this great aviation event. Join our group of likeminded aviation enthusiast from, not only all over Southern Africa, but also from Europe, Australia and the USA. We offer two options – “All the Way” from Johannesburg or “Join in the USA” - Chicago or Oshkosh.

This tour departs Johannesburg on the evening of Saturday 24th July 2010. The flight arrives the next day in Chicago at midday. A luxury coach then departs with the group from O’Hare International, arriving at our campsite in Camp Scholler, Oshkosh at about 17h00 Sunday afternoon.
On arrival, find your tent and settle in! The show starts the next day, get your entry passes at the gate, weekly or daily.
Breakfasts, tent and bedding are all included in the tour price.
Oshkosh ends on Sunday 01st August. The coach departs from Camp Scholler the next day arriving at O’Hare at about 14h00. The flight departs Chicago at 17h00 arriving in Paris the next morning. The Johannesburg flight departs that evening, you can spend the day in Paris (visa required for SA passport holders) or get some rest in the airport. Flight arrives in Johannesburg on Wednesday 4th August at 05h40.
Breakaways can be arranged, either before Oshkosh or after, in either the USA or Europe.

If you have Voyager miles, or you will already be in the USA, you can choose to join us in Chicago or Oshkosh. The coach leaves O’Hare at 13h30 on Sunday 25th July and gets back to O’Hare at 14h00 on Monday 2nd August. Tour price includes tent with bedding, breakfasts and all the great services and entertainment we provide. You can also join in Oshkosh if your dates don’t fit in.
